In the last few years ITECNA S.p.A. is strongly focused on technological innovation and attention to every single detail to guarantee customers an ever better user experience.
In this article we will explain, albeit quickly, 3 tricks that we use daily in the construction of our gages and checking fixtures.
Aluminium gage body
We decided to build the “gage body” exclusively in aluminium 5083 or 6082 to take all the benefits of these types of alloys.
Unlike ferrous materials, these alloys have excellent corrosion resistance, are easy to clean with degreasers and solvents and have a significantly lower weight.
Unlike resins they have a longer life, require very little jobs maintenance and are 100% recyclable.
Clamping support
Most of our competitors use welded and painted clamping support. ITECNA S.p.A. instead build the clamping support only in aluminium.
The lack of welding and the almost total absence of corrosion allow the clamping support to be used continuously without compromising its functionality.
Support for checking fixtures
After several technical and functional tests ITECNA S.p.A. has reached the goal of building support for checking fixtures always in aluminium which, besides being perfectly functional, are also aesthetically appealing.
A totally parametric project has been developed, able to be reused according to the customers need but always guaranteeing an excellent result.
These 3 small but important measures have certainly made it much easier and more pleasant for our customers to use the gauges and control templates and in addition have brought 3 tangible benefits:
NO CORROSION
The use of aluminium allows us to guarantee the almost total absence of corrosion, even after a period of time and non-optimal conditions.
REUSE OVER TIME
Our equipment can be reused over time ensuring always the right result.
WEIGHT REDUCTION
Our gages and checking fixtures in aluminium are 25% weight less than competitor’s equipments.
